Like all premium diesels, Excellium Grade Premium Diesel is produced by blending a premium concentrate into a standard diesel. Unlike other premium diesels, the concentrate – EPC+ - is manufactured by a Big 4 energy company, can be blended on-site without changing fuel supplier - and has seven active ingredients.
Excellium Grade Premium Diesel delivers various benefits, including a 2% to 5% reduction in diesel consumption and carbon emissions. EPC+ can also be blended with HVO100 or HVO30 to produce an Excellium Grade Hydro-treated vegetable oil diesel to deliver additional emissions savings.
HVO100 delivers a 4% to 5% reduction in tailpipe emissions and a 90% reduction in well-to-wheel emissions. Blending EPC+ with HVO100 or HVO30 can further reduce tailpipe emissions by 2% to 5%, delivering a total potential reduction in emissions of 6% to 10%.
EPC+ | 2% to 5% reduction in diesel consumption. |
2% to 5% reduction in carbon emissions.
20% to 60% reduction in diesel particulate matter.
99% reduction in fuel injector fouling.
30% and 60% increase in fuel injector life.
4% and 10% reduction in AdBlue costs.
Reduces local pollution emissions, including carbon monoxide and unburnt hydrocarbons.
HVO100 | Replaces standard diesel fuel with no changes to the vehicle. |
Replaces standard diesel fuel with no changes to maintenance.
Superior cold start operability and storage stability.
Up to 90% in well-to-wheel CO2 emissions.
Delivers a healthy 4 - 5% reduction in tailpipe CO2 emissions.
Up to 85% reduction in diesel particulate matter.
Reduces local pollution emissions, including carbon monoxide and unburnt hydrocarbons.
HVO100 and EPC+ | 2% to 5% reduction in diesel consumption. |
6% to 10% reduction in carbon emissions.
Up to 86% reduction in diesel particulate matter.
99% reduction in fuel injector fouling.
30% and 60% increase in fuel injector life.
4% and 10% reduction in AdBlue costs.
Replaces standard diesel fuel with no changes to the vehicle.
Replaces standard diesel fuel with no changes to maintenance.
Superior cold start operability and storage stability.
Up to 90% in well-to-wheel CO2 emissions.
Reduces local pollution emissions, including carbon monoxide and unburnt hydrocarbons. |
While the savings using HVO30 will vary according to the blending proportions, the impact of EPC+ will be maintained regardless of the blend.
GOVERNMENT SUPPORT
Businesses introducing HVO100 into their business may be eligible for government assistance with implementing their renewable energy strategy.
Federal and state government agencies offer various grants and other support for projects contributing directly to the sustainable reduction of dependency on fossil fuels.
